Your wedding photo album is one of the mediums through which you can relive your wedding day. Thus, it is important to get the right photographer way before your big day.
Before Hiring
Keep in mind that the photographer will not simply be there to take photos. He has to plan and guide you on the best places to take shots. His intricate understanding of how light affects the quality of photos taken can help you when preparing your reception area. Thus, create a rapport with him way before the wedding day.
How Much Should You Pay?
One thing is for sure; good photographers do not come cheap. If you are hiring one from a Sydney wedding photography agency, you have good chances of getting high quality shots. The cost depends on the amount of time the photographer will spend with you. Typically, 20-30 photos can cost about $1500 while a full package can be around $5000. This is not expensive considering the quality of photos and service you will receive.
Tips On Choosing A Good Photographer
The best place to find photographers is over the Internet. Go through the websites of wedding photography Sydney agencies or independent photographers. Check their past works to get an idea of the quality to expect. From there, come up with a short list of prospects and arrange to meet them in person to find the type of persons they are.

Below are other things you should consider when choosing a photographer:
Avoid using family- Just because your uncle has a good digital camera does not make him a professional photographer. Avoid using amateurs for your big day.
Booking – Interview the photographers and book your best choice immediately the wedding day has been confirmed. Ideally, you should have a photographer booked 12-18 months before your wedding day.

Do you need a contract? This is business. Get a contract written to assure that both parties will be satisfied.
Upfront payments- Paying upfront is recommended as it indicates your commitment to working with the photographer. Moreover, the photographer will also avail himself exclusively to you during the wedding day.

The above are some of the things you should consider when you are looking for a wedding photographer in Sydney.

7) STAR TREK

With this futuristic take on a futuristic tale, Paramound padded its pockets with $257,730,019 worth of sci-fi scintillation.

6) THE HANGOVER

Warner Bros. made a good argument for sobriety with this comedic free-for-all that earned $277,322,503 domestic.

5) UP

This 3-D CG darling won three Academy Awards and was Disney Pixars third all-time best with a domestic gross of $293,004,164.

Harry and the gang returned for box-office magic that conjured $301,959,197 domestic for Warner Bros.

2) TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN

Autobots battled Decepticons, making Paramount/Dream Works the winners of the number 11 highest grossing movie of all time with a $402,111,870 North American take.

1) AVATAR

James Cameron. Fox. Number one domestic of all time. $749,766,139. ‘Nuff said.

Public presentations of classic movies on the big screen are great opportunities for film buffs and ordinary movie-goers alike to see all-time great films the way they were meant to be seen: projected in front of an audience. These screenings can be popular and exciting events to hold and can generate a great deal of public interest in the organizers, who, depending on what they decide to show, can acquire a glint of Old Hollywood glamor, a aura of art house chic, or–more simply–just be known as a fun and innovative group.

However, there is more to running a successful movie screening that choosing and acquiring rights to a movie and then booking a location. Ticket printing is a vitally important step in running a successful event, and choosing the right event ticket printing service is an important step in ensuring that a classic movie screening event is as successful as possible.
On one level, tickets are crucial simply from a logistical standpoint: even events that offer free admittance to the public generally need some form of ticketing to prevent venues from becoming overcrowded, which would be both unpleasant for everyone and unsafe. Tickets are naturally even more vital when admission is charged. Tickets prevent people who haven’t paid from sneaking in, and just as important, they reassure those who have paid that their money was well-spent. An efficient system of ticket distribution and ticket taking helps ensure screenings are safe and enjoyable.

To generate a buzz of excitement around a movie screening, though, organizers would be wise to take advantage of custom event ticket printing. Then, the ticket can be not only a means of admission but also a reminder to its holder, with the film name, location, and time printed on it. Furthermore, a specially-printed ticket lends an event—and its organizers—an air of professionalism. A well-designed ticket is an essential but too-often-overlooked part of a cohesive package of promotional materials, and custom event ticket printing can help make a classic movie screening an eagerly anticipated, not-to-be missed event.

Sony has made a new featurette from The Karate Kid available. This behind-the-scenes look at the film features Director Harald Zwart, Jaden Smith, and Jackie Chan. Watch it now…In Columbia Pictures’ The Karate Kid, 12-year-old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) could’ve been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother’s (Taraji P. Henson) latest career move has landed him in China. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying – and the feeling is mutual – but cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. Even worse, Dre’s feelings make an enemy of the class bully, Cheng. In the land of kung fu, Dre knows only a little karate, and Cheng puts “the karate kid” on the floor with ease. With no friends in a strange land, Dre has nowhere to turn but maintenance man Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), who is secretly a master of kung fu. As Han teaches Dre that kung fu is not about punches and parries, but maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing down the bullies will be the fight of his life.

The Karate Kid stars Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan, Taraji P. Henson, and Tess Liu.

It comes to theaters June 11 from Columbia Pictures.

Fox just offered me X-Men 4…but I turned it down. Why? I love the X-Men movies. The exec at Fox also seemed like a really smart guy who knows exactly what worked and didn’t work about the earlier trilogy. He has an abiding love for the comics and knew my work better than I did. I have no doubt he’s going to put together an amazing movie here because the people he’s talking about behind the camera are all friends and heroes of mine. He also offered me massive scope with the story and I have an idea I really like, something that takes the franchise in a really fresh direction. But you know what?

I’m having so much fun creating my own characters and enjoying the control this gives you over the comic-books and the movies that handling an established franchise eems odd to me now. It’s tempting, SO tempting for a guy who’s been a fanboy as long as he can remember, but I need to stick to my guns. I want to create the NEXT generation of superheroes over the next few years and going back would, I think, be a mistake.

Within hours of its world premiere at South by South West, Gareth Edward’s first feature Monsters was sold to the Wagner/Cuban Company’s Magnet Releasing (genre arm of Magnolia Pictures) for North America and Mexico. In a deal brokered by Magnolia SVP Tom Quinn and Protagonist Pictures CEO Ben Roberts, the Vertigo Films movie premiered at a packed midnight screening in the SX Fantastic section of the festival programmed by Fantastic Fest’s Tim League.

Produced by Allan Niblo and James Richardson of Vertigo Films (Bronson, StreetDance), the film was shot as a road movie, traveling through Guatemala, Mexico and the US, involving local people alongside its key cast Scoot McNairy (In Search of a Midnight Kiss) and Whitney Able (All the Boys Love Mandy Lane).

The film is described as follows:

Six years ago previously, a NASA probe returning to earth with samples of an alien life form, crashed over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear, and half of Mexico was quarantined as an “INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain “the creatures”… The story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

Tom Quinn commented: “We were blown away by ‘Monsters’ – I can’t think of a more exciting addition to the Magnet slate. Gareth Edwards is an extraordinary talent and we’re thrilled to bring his vision to American audiences.”

Producers Allan Niblo and James Richardson commented: “Having kept the film a secret for so long, Vertigo is thrilled to have Magnet not only discover it at this year’s SXSW Fest but immediately become our US partner on this groundbreaking movie. We are all looking forward to releasing ‘Monsters’ together onto an unsuspecting world.”

With a background in visual effects, Gareth Edwards has created BAFTA award-winning and Emmy-nominated visual effects and recently broke new ground directing the epic drama Attila the Hun for the BBC, creating all the 250 visual effects himself. Winning SciFi London’s 48 hour film contest led to Monsters, his feature film debut, which he wrote, shot and directed.

SYNOPSIS: Magic, fantasy, and Celtic mythology come together in a riot of color and detail that dazzle the eyes, in this sweeping story about the power of imagination and faith to carry humanity through dark times. Young Brendan lives in the Abbey of Kells, a remote medieval outpost under siege from raiding barbarians. One day a celebrated master illuminator arrives from foreign lands carrying an ancient but unfinished book, brimming with secret wisdom and powers. To help complete the magical book, Brendan has to overcome his deepest fears on a dangerous quest that takes him into the enchanted forest, where mythical creatures hide. It is here that he meets the fairy Aisling, a mysterious young wolf-girl, who helps him along the way. But with the barbarians closing in, will Brendan’s determination and artistic vision illuminate the darkness and show that enlightenment is the best fortification against evil? The Secret of Kells is a France/Belgium/Ireland co-production of Les Armateurs, Vivi Film, Cartoon Saloon and France 2 Cinema and features the voices of Brendan Gleeson (Harry Potter, In Bruges), Evan McGuire and Christen Mooney.
